AJHS Awards Day

Awards Day at Arab Junior High School. You can see that all three boys are stellar! Chase and Jack were recognized for being in Scholar's Bowl, Chase had the highest score in his science class, and Strat came in 2nd in the school's geography bee. WOW!

This is Chase, Jack and their friend Derek Ryan. Don't they all looked really, really glad to be there? haha

Jack wanted to be checked out after the awards program, so the four of us when to Huddle House for breakfast. It was a great morning!

This was for a school project ... science, I think. Strat had to make a musical instrument that played three distinct notes. He and Jim had a pretty good time making it.

Chase gets braces

This was a long process, but Chase finally got his braces on! Some of these pics hurt to look at!

Ourtdoor Fire

We don't build a fire very often in the fire pit, but when we do, it's loads of fun. It was cold, cold, cold this night. We roasted marshmallows and had a fun family time.

I have NO idea why Strat is shirtless or why I allowed it, but here he is!

You can see that someone evidently told him to cover his "parts" with the cards. He is about to crack up!

Bridget jumping in the pool. MeMaw was not going to let her jump into the deep end of the pool, this this little bugger jumped before MeMaw knew what was going on and swam like a fish to the ladder. Bridget was allowed to jump in from then on. haha

Mallory had to jump a few times for me to get her in the air. Bless her heart, about three times when she came up from jumping in, I had to tell her to do it again. I got a lot of splashing from her at first, but this one was a keeper.

Aren't these just some crazy boys? They jumped in the pool with their clothes on, and started pulling their shirts over their heads and making weird noises.
