Here is that cutie patootie Chase! He is playing his DS here, probably a new game that he just bought at WalMart with his birthday money. He loves that new game, but I can't remember the name of it. Cute smile! And yes, that is a Texas Longhorns cap he has on. I think he and Jack are having a bit of a competition on how many caps they can collect. I'm glad they wear them all!

Here are Jack and Chase before I asked them to look up at me. Jack is eating a yogurt parfait that I made them (I guess Chase finished his) and Chase is very intent on that game. The cap Jack has on is a new Patriots cap. It's very cool and I think it's his new favorite.




Strat loves that MP3 player that Mamo and Papo gave him for Christmas! He is rarely without it, and we have been making changes (mostly adding) to his playlist a lot lately.

Jack is so silly! I'm not sure why he made this face, but it was probably because I had the camera in his face. I'm sure he didn't think I would actually take the photo. And now here it is - for all the world to see!

Strat going to Christmas performance

I remembered at the last minute to take Strat's pic in his choral outfit. We were on our way out and I took his pic as he was getting in the car, then I made him come back in so I could take his pic in front of the Christmas tree. The concert was very short since the high school didn't perform. They are getting ready for a musical, so it was just the elementary school and the junior high. They sounded good!

I wanted to honor the age-old experience of a child having a pet. It is a wonderful part of growing up, and it is important to me that the boys experience it. So, here are a few pics of the boys with animals.

Here is Molly the crazy big dog watching the boys play a game. She is probably sitting and thinking of a way to get in the middle of things. ha

Boys and bugs! Need I say more?? Not really a pet, but an important part of being a little boy.

Petting Millie. Millie was a stray that we saw across the street one day. Jim wanted to give her some food and water because she was SO very skinny, so he and the boys took a couple of disposable bowls across the street. It wasn't long before she was a member of the family, but she was always a little skittish about being petted. The only one who could really get close to her touch-wise was Strat. She seemed to love him the best.

Here is Jack petting a stray that was in our yard. Jim was afraid he would be hit by a car, so we put him in the back fence (while we still had one). Jim called the owners number on the dog tag and they came to get him.
